TeamLiquid published a long article on Nazgul Brood war career, but seems to have forgotten/omitted to put in on TL, I thought it could interest some of you.

Great article. I totally remember reading those battle reports and constantly raiding the replay secion while in 8th-9th grade. Old school. Long live starcraft.

What an awesome article! Nazgul was one of the best and quite the perfectionist too. And what a gentleman! I used to tag along with him to observe [GG] members train against each other. Some of my fondest memories involved observing players like ElkY play against SlayeR with Grrrr, NTT and others in attendance. Back then observers had to select Terran, lift off their command centers, fly them into the corners of Lost Temple and suicide all of their scvs. The ability to simultaneously kill your last two remaining scvs was something fun to do and try to master. I also got to play against these giants, partly thanks to Nazgul's welcoming hand gesture.

As Nazgul points out in the interview, back then "You have no VOD, you have no stream, you have no replays. The only way you could ever see another person play StarCraft was literally join their game as an observer and watch. It was the only way!"

This was the golden era of StarCraft and Nazgul's name will be forever entwined with it.
