Wow, double elemination with (I guess) far above 1000 participants?! Insane amount of games

Questions:
-Casted live/replays live or NASL like? Important point for me, imo replay casting just lacks a bit atmosphere (not so much I would not watch ofc)
-How do you decide what matches to cast or do you plan to cast all (don´t think that´s possible

).
Polls would be nice if we can express our opinion, but most casters know what the audience like I guess
-Notable players get seeded in different brackets?
-Best of 3/1 in first rounds?
-Map pool? Might be good to add to OP

We're still working out the logistics of the commentary, so nothing has been 100% decided yet (live vs. replays).

The matches will be decided based on looking at the brackets and finding games of interest to cast. Commentators will also provide suggestions on what games they would like to cast as well.

Right now the brackets are completely done at random.

Yes first rounds are still BO3

Random for the brackets might be fair, but would really be a shame if you have Idra-Select first round and one of them being knocked out from loser bracket due to bad luck. Perhaps something like TLPD Elo rank or even ladder rank seeding might be a good idea, but of course I can´t give you advice how to organize such a big tournament.

Why are all of these North American tournaments available only to people living in North America? Are they uninterested in providing availability for everyone across the world? I mean, I can understand Tt wants to have a big North American tournament, but people living elsewhere around the world that are trying to compete internationally are really having a tough time since just about every one of these tournaments is so limiting.
Anyways for the people who can sign up, good luck. Hopefully things run smoothly.

It obviously links to the same place but Tt eSports have been sponsoring so much stuff lately I want to be 100% sure.
