All matches during the RO8 Round Robin are bo3. All vetoes and map picks need to be made before the matches. The player with the higher ladder stage ranking can decide if they want to veto first or second. The order for vetoes is ABAB ABC for BO3 and AB ABABC for BO5.
Example of vetoes for the BO3 match:
player A vetoes a map player B vetoes a map player A vetoes a map player B vetoes a map player A picks the first map player B picks the second map the remaining map will be played in the decider match Once all vetoes and mappicks are done you can start the matches.
The way i see it, they've picked the 5 most interesting match ups to be broadcast from both days, otherwise Nyoken and gypsy may as well give up sleeping if they attempt to cast all of the 56 bo3's during the round-robin. I'm actually pretty happy with what they've chosen to cast, many many good games ahead!
I'm just so happy to have this to look forward to tonight. Gypsy and Nyoken reacting and theorizing to the games. The way they rightly take this game and players seriously, although not without the much needed jokes and laughter spread in the mix. ZZZeros production crew and their crisp handling of the stream and everything involved with running BSL. How can we thank them enough?
This format is incredible and gives us so many good matchups. 5th or 6th place rolling through the playoffs would be something to see. Chances of a three way tie are slim, but so much good players I wouldn't be surprised if it happened

Bonyth goes into 2 gate goons into robo Boa on 2 gate faster robo. Neither player expands.
Boa has obs out as Bonyth takes his expo first. Boa with a bigger army, moves out when reaver comes out. Boa expo starts as Bonyths finishes. Boa moves out with a larger goon army with a zealot.
Reaver out for Bonyth. Reaver/goon attack at Bonyths natural. Bonyth deciminates Boa's army, his reaver lives, counter attacking Boa, Boa loses control of his natural, four goons vs 2 goon and reaver, Boa holds, Bonyth leaves with shuttle and reaver.
Boa's build was a little off, it looks to me like was have some US to Poland lag that the players are deal with.

Bonyth has Boa contained in his main, neither player has expanded. Bon faster robo, shuttle out, reaver soon, Boa went 3 gate goon and slow reaver crawled to retake his natural ground.
Reaver-shuttle vs goon/reaver and 1 zlot. Boa has more goons as the armies approach.
Bonyth kills everything after catching 4 or 5 goons out of position.
2/0 Bonyth makes the most out of mirror situtions, reminds me of peak Best or peak Rain, they just did the same thing better.
