Clash for Char is a series of Bi-Weekly tournaments that I want to run moving forward open to people of all skill levels. Currently there isn't a prize pool, but with enough interest I want to add a matcherino link so people can donate (and I'll put a little in too, but I unfortunately don't have enough spare income to cover it myself.

Where to Play: Battle.net Europe Server
When: August 20th 17:00 GMT (+00:00)

- All games are Bo3 other than Finals which will be Bo5
- During first round, players will be disqualified if they haven't shown up after 15 minutes. Further rounds will be after 10 minutes.
- Please use the signup link for Challonge to see the brackets and your opponents.
- All replays should be sent to qikzsd@gmail.com after your games
- Update your own results in challonge when you win for your games so it can move you along the bracket.
- Each player bans one map, then the remaining games are played in order of the thread. Benzene, Outsider, Circuit Breakers, Neo Ground Zero then Pathfinder. This does not apply to Bo5 where all maps are played for finals.
- All games must be played on Remastered
- Play on the Battle.net Europe server unless there's a problem in which case arrange with your opponent.
- If I ask to cast your series, you've gotta let me obs.
- Meet your opponent in channel "CFC"
Notes:
-This is my first tournament, I've run leagues but never tournaments.
- I'll be casting with possibly GGzerG, if not I'll solo cast.
- Replays autosave within My Documents > Starcraft > Maps > AutoSave

is is called clash for char because maps are either space station or ash tileset?

I'm not going to lie, I initially came up with the name and I suddenly thought, oh man it'd be cool if they were all Ash maps, but Outsider and Ground Zero are the only really modern maps other than Neo Requiem but I wasn't sure people would want to play that. I threw in space station after, but it'll be different maps moving forward.

You shouldn't not register for this reason. On BW, there is one fact for 95% of the foreigners in a tournament : you won't win anyway. BW's skill gap is too big. So why participate? Because it's fun, because you'll try to beat the most player possible before getting knocked out, and because playing pressured by the tournament makes you play your best. At last, because it's an opportunity to get your ass kicked by better players who usually don't have the time for you. So: go go go!
