*** Updated with interview with the Team Manager ***
Translated from: http://www.fighterforum.com/news/news_read.asp?cat=INT&idx=12895
Savior from CJ has rewritten MSL history. In the Pringles MSL Finals on the 16th, he surpassed KTF's Nal_rA 3:1 to take his second MSL victory. This is the first time that a Zerg has played in 3 finals in a row and won 2 of them. He will be able to accomplish a feat never accomplished before; possibly a 4th straight MSL Finals.
Out of the Progaming teams that have recieved sponsorship this year, CJ seems to have been the most successful. Savior has won the Pringles MSL in the individual leagues, and his team, CJ Entus, is attempting to play in the Finals of the Pre-2006 Proleague Playoff Finals.
-Congratulations on your win! ▶This is my 3rd Finals individually, and since this was the first finals since our team's new sponsorship, I was determined to win. I'm happy that I have been able to recieve the first win on our team. The weather wasn't great, but a lot of fans have come to watch the finals. I'm happy that I have been able to repay them with a victory. After my 2nd placing in the last MSL, I made a pledge to prevent mistakes and obtain my win. I'd also like to thank the CJ team for their support.
-How does this compare with your first championship? ▶There isn't much of a big difference. I'm always nervous and excited. Just like my first win, I was happy and shaking so I have no memory. I have nothing more to say (laughs).
-What was the climax of your matches? ▶It was game 3. I had the impression that on "The Eye", Zerg was advantageous over Protoss, so I wasn't worried about that map. With my scouting overlord however, I saw a strategy that I've never seen before, so I was surprised. My change in strategy mid-game came to my advantage. When I saw his probe scout my mineral expansion at 1 o'clock, I knew that his army would soon follow. I was able to give some damage to his main with my mutalisks with the absense of his army.
-You are especially strong on MBC. ▶I've heard that a lot, but it doesn't concern me. At least now, I can start doing well on both MBC and Ongamenet, so it doesn't worry me much.
-Where are you going to use your prize money of 30,000,000 Won? (Approx. 30,000 USD) ▶I haven't put any thought to that. I don't think I have much uses for it (laughs). I think I'll have to save it. Up till now, I've given all my earnings to my parents.
-How did you practice? ▶I've been practicing since the Ace Match on Proleague (against Sync, which he won). I've had a lot more time than my opponent, so I've been practicing on and off. Rather than game practice, I've been doing a lot of thinking, and have had many conversations with the Protoss/Zerg users on my team. Also, I'd like to thank Free[gm] and FanTastic_Namoo from Hanbit. They've helped me a lot.
-You still have the Play-offs for Proleague. ▶I'm thinking that my team will do well, because my win can help motivate them. I will make sure that we go into the finals.
-Your nickname has become "The Maestro" ▶I've heard that it means "the conductor". I thank my fans for giving me such a nickname. I'm liking this nickname, along with "Genius Zerg", which I have been called in the past. I'm hoping the nickname of "The Maestro" will stay with me.
-You will be able to attemp your 3rd win, and a never before attempted 4th finals. ▶I'm not particularly aware of that. I can't guarantee anything, but I will do my best.

Interview of CJ Entus Manager, Cho Kyu Nam: http://www.fighterforum.com/news/news_read.asp?cat=INT&idx=12896
-This is your first win since your new sponsorship! ▶First of all, I'm extremely thankful to my players. CJ Group has taken interest in the e-Sports industry and are finding things to do within it. I'm very pleased that I've been given a chance to repay CJ. With today's win under our belt, I'm hoping that we will be able to go past the finals and end up winning it.
-Was there any purpose in letting Savior play in the Ace Match for CJ in the Proleague? ▶I didn't make him ace on purpose. With the MSL finals lurking around the corner, I wanted to take notice of the players' schedules. Savior is young, and he was the one that volunteered for the position of ace. All the players were able to help each other and things worked out well.
-This MSL's schedule was close to Proleague's schedule. ▶We think the Proleague is based on the individual player's skill and mental power. The reason why we put a lot effort into our individual leagues is because if a player does his best on the games they play, it will be, in a sense, the same as practicing for the proleague. This time, we prepared well. Last year, our team didn't win the proleague, but our players have gained considerable experience. Savior volunteered to play the Ace match, and had no problem preparing for this MSL Final.
-The Proleague Playoff remains. ▶Among the players, the will to win is very strong. I've believed them before, and I will also put faith in them from now on. If we become one, we think there will be no problem getting to the finals.
-Your plans from now? ▶Up till now, we came here without rest. I'm sorry to my players, but we'll only be able to rest on August. Also, resting isn't what the players want. We will have a brief congratulatory party with the players, and start preparing for Proleague from tomorrow. *********************************

Savior is just the man. I may be mistaken, but I believe that with this win he will now surpass Chojja in the KeSPA rankings. And to be honest, I feel he deserves it. While his ZvZ has not been as dominant, he hasn't let Chojja take a winning record over him (I believe the record between them now is 10-10 ~O.O~), but his ZvT is the most dominant we have seen in years (not since July stormed onto the scene in 2004) and his ZvP is much more solid than he is given credit for having.
In my opinion, Savior is the most imposing Zerg player we have ever seen. His sense for the games mechanics are unmatched by any other Zerg, and we are begining to see that his strategic depth is much greater than previously believed (the telepathic 9 pool vs Midas's 14 CC, and reading of the fast proxy on Arcadia). I believe that if Savior becomes more confident with low income Zerg (like Chojja has done -- see his game vs Iris on Peaks), he will go down in history as the number one Zerg. Of course, this is all just opinion.

Actually, I think I would more enjoy seeing a Savior/NaDa or Savior/Sea showdown or a rematch of Savior/Midas.
I think if we saw a Casy/Savior match or Boxer/Savior match, we'd see a bunch of short games, whereas the players I listed would give us series matches reminiscient of the titanic NaDa vs Gorush battles from You Are the Golf King and IOPS.

He didn't mean short as in Savior losing necessarily. Just short games, one way or another.
But yeah, I agree with IPX being one of the great Zerg players of all time... I think the reason he may be underappreciated is his lack of OSLness....
If he gets an OSL under his belt, I don't think anyone will be doubting him anymore.

Savior rapes nada on such a hold, and I bet he would rape Sea faster as well :3. I would like to see savior vs boxer/casy more, both having a unique charisma that seperates from the rest of the terran crowd.

not as much as he owns iloveoov, nada has won at least once against him :3

Has Savior faced either Boxer or Casy yet?
|
yeah he's faced boxer, currently 1-0 him. (boxer did 3 rax on luna.. -_-; )
|
savior vs casy bo3 would be too insane. or boxer vs savior bo3.
|
Savior's record vs NaDa is 1-1 according to KeSPA.
Evilteletubby said it the way I meant it. Casy and Boxer would take the approach "can't win a macro game, let's see how he can withstand a rush." He defends = gg them, he fails = gg him.
