But it is so much better to watch it live. After you taste live casts it is hard to be satisfied with vods.
I have tasted live cast before , it's essentially the same , although it is a different level when the team or player you are rooting for is playing against the other team . You will wish that you are watching the game live now . My internet connection is horrible but decent for office work and studies . Got to live with what resources I have right now .

I guess you're right; for me it is a bit more exciting to watch it live but the difference is small. But when it comes to long-anticipated games nothing beats live casts... Unfortunately, I also rely mostly on vods as living on the East Coast makes it very hard to catch games live.
personally i find that while some games it doesn't matter much whether i see it live or watch a vod, there are a lot of games where the experience of decisions actually being made as i watch really thrills me. the epitome of these are admittedly silly games like double-cheeses, but i find the same feeling in most games where there's at least a modicum of skill in micro, starsense, dynamic strategic thought, or adaptive play. and the match format is great as each set gets you hyped for the next. reading the tl threads is important for me too as i feed off of everyone's excitement and nervousness and try and get a grasp of what's actually going on in the game.
@otwist Broodwar live report has always been something that I have always relied on and the fan's dedicated to it , are awesome , especially hyde,X10A, without them , I would be here , reading people talking about something that I don't understand , for example " omg storm", my reaction huh ? storm what ? , "omg siege tank ",My reaction ??? how many siege tank and what are they doing ? .
All live reporters deserve a medal in my opinion, they make people who can't watch the game live and just want to get a quick glimpse of what's happening . Satisfied and happy ^_^.
I expect cheese and fail-cheese. BM hatcheries and floating command centers. Dancing and CJ faces. Both teams want to win and hurt the other teams confidence since this is the most likely PL finals candidates. SKT is hungry for more while CJ is eager to smash them down. Who will come out on top? The fans. No matter who wins the games will be spectacular.

honestly i think the few times i've attempted LR it's been really great for my understanding of the game. just trying to think of what details to report and explicitly detail what's going on when i might normally be shrugging and saying "okay, looks normal so far..." - so if you ever see me trying to LR in the future (which i normally only do if nobody else is around to do it better than i would), definitely let me know if there's anything missing or what i can do to make it more complete

It's interesting that you both are so humble despite having so much posts (and surely experience). I really like to read through LR even after the games. I tried to do some LRing in the past when I happened to watch not so hyped matches like Ace vs Stx and there was just a handful of people watching. It's quite hard to write all you want in time, and hope that you won't make some silly mistakes...

Thanks, probably won't be able to do them all (I'll do as many as I can find time for though). I'm sure BR and some others would like to create their own LR threads for when their team plays too, so I shouldn't hog them all.
