But lately now that the current map pool has more maps with easier 4th gas I've seen pros sorta switching back to classic ultra-ling-defiler style. So I think it's sorta player and map dependent but it's definitely a strong viable strategy. But if you let the terran take 4+ gases they can build up a strong tank army that is very hard to break with hydras. I've even seen players like queen start off with hydra/defiler to get a 4th gas and then try to do a really late tech switch to ultras once they see the terran has built up a huge tank army. | ||
