Hi people.
I'm a C- rank player and recently I've been playing against this build in PvP:
- 2 gate (3 zealot pressure, then keep pumping zealots)
- forge
- nexus@nat
- cannon@nat
- DT and the speedlots
I usually go1 gate cybernetics.
1. I feel like if I go reaver expand, their nexus will be so fast that they will afford a large dragoon count.
2. If I go 3 gate goon all in, the DTs kill me.
4. Sometimes I gas steal, which delays their tech, and then push with my first reaver. It works sometimes, but I'm not sure this is the best reaction.
What's your advice? Have in mind that I have only ~ 180 apm.

180 apm is more than enough for Protoss 
My preference is proxy robo with proxy gateway into fast reaver into obs follow-up.
The cross roads are the number of zealots opponent is building, if there are many, he could kill your robotics with zealots if he scouts it, so make sure u have the means to actually protect the proxy.

IF you are going to proxy robo like Bonyth said, make sure you harass with goons, especially once range is done.
If you stop the first 3 zealots without losing much and are on 2 gate goon, you can force a good amount of cannons.
You want to force as many cannons as possible to delay opponents eco, army and tech.

I hate that build because I feel like it forces you to adjust your build and that's something I'm not confortable with yet. And A LOT of people are doing that in D/C. I already do proxy reaver sometimes against 14 CC, so maybe I can pull it off.

first of all let me say you that either you reported a wrong BO (from your opponents, or they are doing it wrong). I mean: nexus before forge.
Apart from that, i want to say it is a good BO, especially at that level. Scauting after first pilon might help in detecting it and allow to start adapting faster.
Generally what you had to keep in mind is that you will have faster goon range, and robo tech, and you can push that to try to end the game. The proxy robo reaver is a good oprion, as Bonyth said, but attention to not end up with a killed robo.
I find really hard to expand and try to stay ok economicly vs this BO. But busting is ok.
Also, you can go for dt drop. As in 99% of cases at C level all the cannons will be in front.
