amazing write up. I especially love remembering through forbidden zone (reach had an amazing game on there (actually more than a few), and bifrost (xellos's map)

Pretty sure Gorky Park was the original name of Gorky Island (kind of like Chow Chow > Martian Cross) and they're the exact same map. Don't quote me, though.

If Mercury is the worst PvZ map ever, you can say the same for medusa tvp.

Mercury was 14-4 Z vs P

Medusa is 19-6 P vs T

Wow Valley of Wind is really cool! Unfortunately right now it's terran-dominated, but if they changed it a little so you couldn't cliff the guy's expansions it would be a good map. I really like unique maps like that. Leads to interesting unusual gameplay situations.

I remember is the same way you do sir. Gorky never underwent any major changes, if it went through any changes at all from the first WCG game it was used in. Gorky Park was the first name iirc as well.

Anyways... definitely nostalgic to play on some of these, and to be honest, I still have most in my map folder I think... PM me if anyone wants to play sometime. I'm incredibly horrible/rusty so it would be purely for fun.
