Congratulations on reaching C rank! How do you feel?
Borisu:
Good morning, thanks a lot! I feel vindicated somehow
but as seen by my results, when violence is the way you communicate eventually the enemies will fall
Haha. Tell us more about your journey into gaming and RTS in particular.
Borisu:
when small I used to play random stuff on those brazilian nintendo knock offs cool stuff but the build quality was very low
when I was like we got a third hand old office computer, and it came with starcraft the shareware version
not much time later I got my hand in a 32mb version of starcraft, no cinematics, no sounds but good times
on those days you could play on bnet using someone else key, so thats what I did for a while until I found unofficial bnet servers existed, but at the time I didnt know shit, sometimes feels like since then to today I only learned 3 things
As long as the 3 things are macro, macro, macro ; D
Your oldest games on repmastered.app are from 2017 or you talking even earlier? A less known nickname perhaps. You are famous for playing the NHFFA Melees and FFAs for many years, your unique strategies, your nukes and your unyielding attitude challenging everyone to play you. How has CPL affected you?
Borisu:
lol no, I'm talking like 2003 with the shareware starcraft, and like 2004 with the 32mb version, was just a kid but managed to play via phone line since it dsl took time to reach the place a lived for being a non aligned country
I used those days I used to play under random names mostly on a chilean server called "rox", after 2010 I played on an off in ICCUP
Yeah I love ffas, I will fight anyone anytime anyplace
oh CPL helped me improve a lot, not that I've listened much to what coaches or other players have to say but because there is a lot of different players and it has pushed me to innovate and go for the kill
I remember small things people have told me over the years, from valar to masterrey
also fighting against so many cpl players has made me realize how weak practicing builds is compared to playing ffas, you disrupt their perfectly executed timing push and suddenly they find themselves in unfamiliar territory then you, as someone that is used to the most stupid stuff ever, take control of the game and they cant beat you even if they are better than you.

That's crazy! What are your plans for the future?

the same as always, I will fight everyone!
yet to this day there are many players that dodge a fight, and not weak players surprisingly but cpl coaches, most notoriously Faust and MasterRey, faust told me that if I won the cpl he would bo5 me, yet he just avoided me until the day he retired, specially after I defeated his protoss with my zerg.
masterrey just ignored my messages
now someone might ask why the hell I'm challenging S rank players to a best of 5, the truth is as a gamer you play people of your same level, but as a fighter you always punch up

kek I've been just a bit busy
I almost never find people playing in shield battery, last time was just a really angry guy trying to qualify for bsl that got mad at me going 3 proxy rax
but certainly I hope for a CPL in shield battery, and even more one day an ASL in shield battery would be cool, but now with microsoft you never know whats gonna happen
a message for the people, obviously everybody should hang around in the nhffa discord server and join some ffa is a fun environment to experiment stuff and to fight to the last man against people of all levels
I heard someone said "if you dont express your anger there is a whole chunk of your life you are not experiencing", I think those are some wise words, and no place is better to be angry at things than starcraft, but it doesnt apply to anger only, thats just an extreme example, joy, hope, laughter, being stupid, being honorable, everything you do, do it fully and make it an epic and positive experience for you and everyone involved! there is too much fun to be had in this life, and if you can even make and have fun while being angry, then you can have fun with anything
