bigger but it's a gr8 mouse, it's categorized as a small mouse but relatively speaking it's on the larger end in the category

11.7cm in lenght // 5.45cm in width

Believe Viper Mini has optical switches. How are you liking the clicks? What are the cons if any in your opinion?

switches are good, very light to press/good for rts

no real downside, would be nice if it was a bit lighter but it's still only 60g

i have one. it's pretty good for starcraft. the optical clickies are nice, and the mouse feels good in my small hands.

if you don't have small hands i advise against it, just for comfort reasons.

Great mouse overall; The switches are awesome. I slightly prefer MM710 as it is lighter, but it is mostly a personal thing.

Ahhh ya I had my eye on that one too. Why do you prefer it? The biggest reason I liked the MM710 more than the Viper is because it doesn't have the big hump. Never been a fan of mice with big humps, decided to go with Viper mostly because it has a ton of hype behind it. Also, never tried optical switches and quite frankly I'm tired of having to replace my mouse because of double clicks. I thought it was just me but from what Ive read on reddit it's a common occurrence with Omron switches and these days, Omrons are practically on every mouse. Apparently optical switches neutralizes that problem.

I like MM710 because it is among the lightest mice I can easily get my hands on. I have used many mice. (Kinda a mouse/keyboard enthusiast. Mouse for gaming; Keyboard for gaming but also typing.) If we want (a) decent build quality, (b) light-weight, (c) easily replaceable, and maybe (d) reasonably priced, there aren't that many choices.

Between MM710 and Viper Mini: Mini's switches are better. Of course "better" can be subjective, but I would say Mini's switches for sure sound better. Theoretically, optical switches also last longer. MM710, on the other hand, is 8g lighter. For many, 8g is not much; But if you play intensively, as what BW requires, the difference can be felt easily. Putting in another word, if you play with a light mouse, it is super hard, if not impossible, for you to switch to a heavier one. MM710's switches are also decent.

There are of course other good mouses. fkmini, for example, has a big following in the BW community. But personally, I don't see why. It is a rather outdated mouse, especially if you use your mouse not only for BW. Then again, all these can just be a personal opinion.

CoolerMaster has an even light mouse, MM720, which is only 49g. You might want to take a look as well. I haven't tried it myself yet.

I use an MM720 and its great. the grip is perfect and I no longer have finger pain when playing SC. Also the software is nice to use and you can change mouse DPI in increments of 100.

I have the viper mini and the regular viper and I do prefer the viper mini over the regular viper, as I have small hands. I like it better than the logitech MX models because it is a lot more light weight, over all it is one of my favorite mice I have used for RTS. It reminds me of the old Korean mouse by KTEC.

Shape-wise i prefer the MM710 but Razer has better build quality, almost all the CM mice i've owned had quality control issues (either the sides creak, mouse buttons are wobbly etc.). That's my experience from like 1-2 years ago so it might have gotten better.

Really starting to love my Viper Mini. Not going to lie when i first started playing with it, absolutely hated the shell and the width of it but man... I can understand the hype behind it. It's decent quality, perfect for small hands, low budget. The cord is nice too, the clicks feel beautiful and sturdy, they dont feel like something that is just going to break in a few months. I must emphasize that it's a very thin mouse so anyone with med-large hands might have a hard time playing with it. This is coming from someone who has elf-sized hands. Also does take some time to get accustomed to it if you're coming from the fkmini2 or any egg shaped mouse. It's mostly the width feels unusual/new.

4/5 Mouse for me, and to my surprise, like it more than my fkmini2.
