on his stream.
Hello guys, honestly since Sunday, I haven’t been able to stream at all due to arm pain for over a week. Yesterday, I wasn’t able to stream due to moving home. I was hurting a bit. It hurt a lot more than I thought it would.
Anyways, I think you guys are curious about the army situation. I don’t like clickbaiting and stuff so I just left it as an announcement, and planned to just quietly go to the army after time with my friends. I was originally supposed to go after June, but the conscription date was set to be May 6th.
You guys are wondering if it will be active duty or public service. In truth, I have gotten a pass for public service long ago (instead of active duty). Honestly, [the condition of arm] is not debilitating to activities of daily living but rather just uncomfortable
I’ve been thinking about why I haven’t gone to the army yet despite being older. Due to that I don't feel anything bad about going to army. I previously thought that I could postpone my service since I was public service but they denied it.
So why did I decide to go now? It’s because of the weather. If I go to boot camp when weather was hot, I think I would feel like I’m dying so I thought going to boot camp when it’s bit cool was better choice. Well, my arm situation is a lot worse than I thought it was, so the decision to let me into public service [instead of active duty] came up right away.
Stream before going to army… well.. I don’t really know about that. Britney told me he would help out as soon as he heard that. When it comes to that time, I believe Britney would help me out there. I still need to see.
So anyways, reason why I moved was because I was in situation where I had to move out, so I wanted to live to place I moved to for a bit before going to army, but the conscription date was set to May 6th. But on positive note, my public service duty workplace isn’t that far from where I moved to, so I can still live here.
My boot camp will be Nonsan. Honestly, isn’t this bit bad to talk about this? Since I don’t know which section I will be there yet. When I called to try to postpone my service a bit, they asked me where I was stationed at. So I called around to people I knew who was in public service. They told me the place I will be stationed at isn’t too bad. I also don’t know my length of my service. I guess I will find out on May 6th.
My regret is that I wasn’t able to stream that much. If I knew that I would be going to army so soon, I would have streamed even more. But right now, I am in so much pain I haven’t been able to go out and meet other people and stuff. Honestly, I don’t really feel like I want to have big sending off meeting. I think it’s huge that I am going to army when I’m older age. Public service may be easier than active duty, but I still have my worries.
I am worried if I really will be able to follow commands ordered by someone else, and also if I can do well at all. Honestly, if it was grunt manual work like washing dishes, I can do it, but if they ask me to do something like go make excel spreadsheet, I don’t know if I will be able to [do good job]. I am going to have to work on my computer skills right now, even if it may be late.
So I got news of my conscription last week on Friday. I was planning to announce it on my stream, but I knew I wouldn’t be able to stream today and this week. Because of that, I felt like I should at least make an announcement, and I am planning to stream a bit more.
Anyways, on exemption… I think I am lucky to even get public service. Anyways, my arm situation got much worse than before, so I am worried about boot camp, but COVID reduced that to 3 weeks, so that’s good. Anyways, even if all these lucky breaks stacked up, it’s still army. It’s not something you can take in so easily. What do you mean it’s like camping… I am already almost 30 so you can’t help but to look back retrospectively. Stuff like “Why didn’t I go earlier”. So I’ve been looking back in my life right now.
On streaming [before going], I don’t think it’s right for someone like me to do it. I don’t have much desire to do it as well.
I think I will be back in 2023 everyone.
