Edit: Maybe it would be a nice idea to allow obserevers in ladder games, maybe with a latency not to make it laggy? I know it would be impossible, but find somebody who doesnt know that. ^^ | ||

Any time you have players in the game, even if they're observers, they are required to send and receive data packets from all of the other players. The solution to prevent observers from lagging the game is to send a delayed recording of the actions in the game, similar to how Dota TV operates. That is planned, but clearly it's a large undertaking. | ||
