Yeah like most people here, I remember watching live stream of OSL in 2005+, that was majestic. Sad to see it goes but it has not been relevant for like 8 years. I got pretty sad when MBC disappeared also. The page has really turned now. The present is still great, but the massive scale of what it used to be is still leaving a void in my heart.
And hmmmmmmm, related to that, there was a video on the theme of Happy Ending by Mika showing all the OSL champions (Well up until the first Jaedong I think).... well I can't find it anymore. I thought it was on Violetak youtube (which I was sure was banned) but it's not. Well if anyone still have it somewhere, I'm interested for the nostalgia factor.

In terms of production understanding and enhancing value and entertainment there were some mad geniuses at OGN. I think it hasn't been surpassed since and since every in-house production I see nowadays was Dead Serious (tm) w/ dark colors, edges and corners and whatnot I think it never will be.
There was an OGN OSL torrent pack here couple years ago, is that still online? Might buy an external HDD just in case their archive vanishes too.

Admittedly I follow BW so sparsely these days that I only just saw this.
RIP OGN. Was some great years of watching professional BW. At this point, given that the pro scene is little more than a distant memory, it feels like little more than confirmation of something that has long been clear. It's a shame they couldn't find their place in the post-BW world, though.
Tanks for the memories. BW was never the same after it stopped being on TV. It was so cool telling my friends how they play SC on TV in Korea lol. And just the sheer amount of pro matches there used to be, it was actually too much to watch all of them, but it was always there played at the highest level when you wanted it. Who would have kept playing this game if it weren't on TV. First and last organic esport and competitive video game. Very unique time in terms of SC kinda being the only game in town, the internet being just good enough to share videos of it to all of us outside Korea, and being a kid with all the time in the world to get obsessed with it.
I feel like the first intro i ever watched was one of the years it had Iloveoov sitting in a chair with everyone around him or something, cannot remember the year. will never forget staying up all night while in school watching starcraft, rip.

These guys sure were ahead of their time with their awesome opening vids. Sad to see them go, even though I haven't seen any OGN content for ages and they quit BW stuff. Thanks for all the great memories I guess :{
