since Rain is a variety streamer, can we remove him from the bw streamers list? every time he is "streaming bw" he is actually streaming some random game.

Rain has done a lot for the BW community and is a mutliple BW/Star2 champion. There was the same discussion about wether Brittney deserves to show up. The same argument was used there, he has done a lot for the community and therefore has a always a place.

And btw, why does it bother you? just don't klick on the link?

i'm a big rain fan but the fact is he doesn't stream bw so why should he be on the bw streams.
his content is 0% bw so it should be in other games, not in bw streams. it doesn't offend me. it's just a matter of fact

and btw, i avoid that stream bc i know it's not bw

I agree with topic starter. But looks like stream sidebar here made for appreciation and hall of fame, instead of “whos currently streaming bw”.

Let Rain have some relief jeez. He won trophies on both games, he donated part of his liver to his father, he has problem with his wrists (look how big the bones near his arm looks, i think its called "ganglion cyst" and it's because he played so much) guy needs some rest.

thing is i'm not hating on him at all or trying to say he doesn't 'deserve' something. this is not a knock on any player it's just for the sake of the stream list being playing bw. like i said, maybe need another tier for the legends that are not playing anymore.

I agree with you. I would love nothing more than to have only BW streams listed in the sidebar. However, maintaining that is a pain for afreeca streams since they don't have categories (as far as I know?) that can be queried through their API, so it would have to be done manually. We actually did remove Britney once before, but then he started that BW team league so we added him back again. I'd be fine with removing both Rain and Britney again if they don't stream BW at all anymore, but that seems hard to guess and I don't want to keep changing it back and forth again.

ok i was thinking it was more of an old boys' mentality rather than more work for ya'll. thanks for correcting me. i'll stop pushing it. i just didn't want to come off as if I were somehow saying some players weren't 'worthy' which is what the discussion has become. that's not what i wanted ! thank you!

TL should really have an option to add/remove streams on the side but hey its TL in 2020 so you're probably never going to see it.

I agree, if he's not a bw streamer anymore, he shouldn't be in the bw section. Move him to "other games" section like the others.

i think this has run its course.. wasn't trying to hate on the legends. but when 10 more pros retire do you want the entire bw stream section to be full of variety streamers?
