I checked game carefully. It was not about flash is great, but Rush played bad.
Rush's decision making got him into disaster at opening. Here's what it looked like in-depth: 1. Both players run scvs for scout at the same time. 2. Rush found his opp first (at this point Flash is scared of early rax, because scouting path of Rush's scv was unusual) 3. Rush started to disturb Flash's CC. 4. Considering (2) and (3) Flash forced to make second depot before CC and making standard 2 rines. 5. Flash's scouting scv reach center and sees no ealry all in threats 6. Flash's scv reach Rush's position and sees CC with NO rines. (i believe i know Flash's thought: "what a greediness!") 7. Considering (4) and (6) Flash decides to continue produce rines and throw all units into attack.
This lead Rush into huge opening failure.
Agreed, but can we give credit to Flash? Lets say Rush played the same way he did against Light perhaps, i can guarantee you Rush will survive and cruise to the mid game.

For me, I could never get even close to the level of micro or perfect execution of what Flash is doing in this game, being a D/E level player, so I can only watch and admire.

this match is pretty close to the same as getting scholar checkmate in chess.

Very nicely done by FlaSh, displaying his amazing micro / multitasking. Thanks for sharing.

yes, but the best chess player would not scholars mate a top 0.01% chess player, and that is what makes this TvT between Flash and Rush so great. Do you comprehend?

BW has a completely different volatility than chess, you cannot compare it in this way. All the "greedy opening vs rush"-scenarios in BW are incredibly close calls, unlike in the "builds" they use in high caliber chess.
About this thread in general: Everyone can enjoy BW the way they want but you shouldn't advertise this as an awesome game when it's not, apart from some neat marine micro by Flash (and that barracks-landing, how come I'm the only one pointing that one out...). It's fancy or surprising, but no "display of greatness".
People bringing the 0.01% argument for Rush: You're measured differently if you're at the top, the standards for talking about good and bad play change. If Roger Federer would miss an easy shot, you'd say that was bad, even if he's among the top 0.0001% of Tennis players. Otherwise every game of Rush and every other progamer would be super awesome because their general skill level is much higher (???).
Flash showed great micro, as usual, but Rush just messed up too many things (check spx's post on page 1) to say that this was "brilliant display" by Flash or "tiny advantage seen and relentless onslaught".

There's clearly a skill gap between Flash and Rush. Not the game of ages.
But it's still a neat watch ow how ruthless and relentless Flash can be. Just grinding every single advantage. Going for the kill, instead of sitting back and macroing up.
The highlight in the game for me was the last push. Rush lost out in a desperate push with 2 vultures at Flash's expo. What does he do immediately? Pull 3-4 SCVs in wait for Flash's counter-attack. I'm pretty sure Rush would not have done so against any other Terran. Rush smartly knew that Flash would be brutal enough to go for the kill - but in the end, it still didn't matter. This shows how Flash is just on another level - even his opponents know, and need to prepare differently against him.

I think that's their point. Rush made rookie mistakes.

May be i used bad analogy, sorry.
I’ll try another using go: Rush started to play joseki, which he didn’t study well, but flash did.
Btw, i dont wanna argue about greatness of this match, coz its very subjective topic. Just telling my view of the game.
