On a global scale, the epic struggle of man vs. machine is still in our future, but AI has already claimed numerous victims on the battlefields of Chess, Go, and StarCraft. Even now, devious masterminds are creating AI that they hope will be able to take down even top players in the near future. After years of in-fighting and thousands of games played at super-human speeds, their strength has grown to the level of posing a challenge to Brood War players as storied and powerful as myself/s I have taken it upon myself to defend our honor against the nefarious programmers and their digital monsters.
As such, I have decided to organize a biweekly event wherein members of the SSCAIT Discord can pit their souped up AIs against me for a Bo# series. The format may change depending on the bot - I may play Protoss, Terran, Zerg, Random, the maps may change, the starting speed, etc. I have already played quite a few bots over the past few months, which gave me the idea for this biweekly event. You can click here to see my recent games against Hao Pan, a Terran bot. Most of the streams will be similar to this one: FPV, me talking about the bots as I struggle against them, potentially some salt. For those of you who aren't familiar with me, I have been playing for an embarrassingly long time and I am currently a ~1900 MMR Protoss with my offraces being a fair amount below that. However, I will rise to any challenge.
If you're interested in Brood War, AI development, doomsday predictions about the rise of the machines, and everything in between, I hope you'll tune in to watch how these bots perform! Stay tuned for updates about the next stream.

I would like to take a moment to give a huge thank you to Zalazane and Antiga.Iruian for helping me set up past and future broadcasts vs. AI, the people whose bots I have already played, the SSCAIT community for the work they do, and my viewers who have given me feedback on previous events and gave me the idea for this biweekly. Cheers! <3

My goal is to make this event as accessible as possible to anyone who is interested in any way, so I will assume that the bot files and replays I receive are open for sharing. However, if a developer does not want me to share the files or replays, I will absolutely honor that.
