Hi everyone! Glad to see that my thread hasn't completely died (lol to the scam claims, since nobody has paid a dime yet (except me for the beer last time) and many know where I live). Ok so, I've had my vacation (in Europe there is an industrial vacation time, which in Sweden means no work in June-August) and just got back from Italy. My computer broke fairly recently so that has greatly hindered my options to update as well as playing.
The latest I've gotten from the Swedish Gov. funding organization is that we might need to get a website since we are online based. This is because it needs to be possible for people from anywhere in Sweden to join and read about what we do. It is related to the organization being "democratic" in that: if the organization is mostly online, then people who live in the woods cannot be discriminated against, so to speak. They want this fixed before the funding. Getting a website for this might not be such a bad thing after all even though it makes life a bit more difficult for me.

Right now I have an exam coming up in a few days so I will not post until afterwards. If someone in the SBWI has knowledge about website making then please make this known by posting in the thread. Maybe we can get our own directory on the BW-initiative website that L_master worked on? I'll have to check with SveRok (Swe. Gov. Funding Org.) if that would cut it or if it needs to be our very own.
And if people start doubting me just because I take a vacation that is well within the normal Swedish standard I only have one thing to tell you.

If you're getting a website done, I would suggest that you have it professionally made so that it actually has useful content and isn't a burden to surf to. That way the organization could gain exposure which is good for you, good for Brood War.

I second this. A website makes a very important first impression, and a bad one can turn most of your traffic away immediately.

They need to do more than just vote democratic, lol. It doesn't matter which one you vote for when both parties are bribed by corporations.
