Detroit Metal City - 12 Episodes
A comedy... about death metal. Very nice, innocent, weak guy somehow manages to become the lead singer of a rising indie death metal band, and the story revolves around him trying to balance his career with keeping it from his friends and family. Each episode ends up being about 10 minutes after the intro and ending, with each containing 2 sections / episodes, usually related to each other.
This anime is unique simply for the fact that its parodying death metal. If you have any idea of what metal or death metal is, this will likely be extremely humorous to you.
Extremely over the top, all the legends surrounding Krauser just make you laugh. The lyrics too. I don't listen to death metal so I wouldn't know if they're remotely similar but for some reason seeing the word "rape" in the subtitles throughout a 12 episodes series amuses me. I don't know if its the translations or what, but anything Krauser says ends up being hilarious.
The interest certainly rests upon Krauser, however the rest of the characters certainly aren't completely plain, which is a good thing. The manager also is a great character, as hearing "fuck" in Japanese is quite funny.
Ending was kinda lacking; I at least expected SOME sort of half-assed ending, but it didn't really bother me that much. I guess it at least leaves it open to more episodes.
[8/10] - Again, a nice anime if you're looking for a good laugh in a short ova series. I haven't laughed this hard in awhile. If you're going to watch it though, I recommend you not watch it all at once, the humor might get stale over one sitting.
Maybe I'll watch Texhnolyze next for a change of pace, I do have a lot of time after all.

imo Fumoffu isn't season 2. That's The SECOND Raid. Fumoffu is just a 1.5 sort of thing.
And I'm going to admit I don't generally enjoy your reviews. They don't compel me to read on so much as say, the super S-class ones on anidb... but those are the best out there, duh. That said, I really liked this one. It's just so... true.

Thanks for pointing that out. Fixed it to reflect its 1.5ish nature.
Don't get me wrong, I do the best I can, but a lot of times these are just quick things I write in like 10 minutes after watching the series. A lot of times I don't write the most eloquent material but I think I'm improving somewhat.
Watched the series in 1 day (more like a couple hours since its so short).

My schedule is really random, I'll usually watch 6-7 at a time, but it varies from two episodes to entire series at a time, depending on how good the anime is, how much sleep I got last night, how hungry I am, etc.

I'm halfway through Texhnolyze at the moment, it's pretty dark. I mean I can't see what's going on half the time.

When I watched this some weeks ago I thought it was awesome, but the jokes eventually get bit repetitive, but overall its worth to watch.
I think manga is still going on and continues the story further and can be read even online (for example: http://www.onemanga.com/Detroit_Metal_City/)
Also a friend of mine noted there's actually a live action movie made out of series, prehaps I will check it out later.

Last 2 animes i watched were Ergo Proxy and Black Lagoon both were really nice !
Edit : Just watched first episode from DMC and i cant stop laughing omg so funny anime ! XD

wow, I tried to watch the first episode, but I really dislike the artstyle and had to stop watching after 5 minutes, because it looks so weird ~~ Just my personal preference, though.
