EPTToday I'm starting to open up my schedule for coaching. To start off I'm starting my rates at 10$ via Paypal or email transfer. I'm a high masters Protoss on Team Legion but my terran and zerg are high diamond/low master. I watch a lot of starcraft streams so I can stay up with the meta-game for the most part.
While coaching I stick to a fairly simple concept, and that's making sure you learn how to improve. I know a lot of people that coach and try to teach people builds, or what counters what, which is important and what I'm going to do a lot of focusing on as well, but it doesn't seem to me most coaches go into breaking down play, and informing players on how to improve on their own time. I may only get hired for 1-2 hours, In that time I can teach you that zealots are good against lings, and you can micro stalkers vs marines, but after that time you're on your own. I want to try and make sure players will be able to continue on improving after a session with me. Ontop of that, I'm not just a "buy me for an hour and gtfo" kind of person. If you hire me on I'll be an endless tool of support and answers (to some extent, If you PM me how to win PvZ and every aspect of the matchup, I won't be able to help). If you have questions I can answer them, If you want replays I can send you some, and If I have free time I'm more than willing to help for a while.
A layout of how a 1 hour coaching sessions would go
- Start by figuring out what you would like to work on
- Give tips, tricks, and general information on their problem
- Find players of equal level to play a certain style they're having troubles with
- Go over the replay and analyse mistakes and how to improve off the game
- Answer questions and give advice and tools for improvement.
