So I remember someone on Teamliquid linked to a website called shirt woot or something. Anyways, two days ago I found a design I really liked so I bought it.
It arrived and it rules, shirt is awesome and stuff. But there is a reoccurring problem with shirts in my house. Whenever they have a design on them... after 2-3 washes and the design starts to peel/fade somewhat significantly. This shirt is pretty awesome and I plan to buy a Teamliquid shirt + a few nerd shirts from Tasteless' website. But the thing that discourages me the most is how fast they turn to shit.
My mother does the laundry so maybe if anyone here knows how I can take extra measures to make sure my shirts don't wear and tear so fast, I'd really appreciate it and start doing my own laundry. So far the only solution I can think of is to not wash my clothing.
Any help/tips/opinions would be greatly appreciated.

Ask your mom what settings she uses on your washing machine and report back to us.
Yeah I suggest doing your own laundry from now on.

Flip your shirt inside out before you wash it.

i've had this problem with my jeans for awhile now >.< ALL my jeans would bleed onto my white shoes no matter what. some people say that when it rains your jeans just naturally bleed onto your shoes, but i've never wore my new shoes in the rain. it's been about a month, and on the back of my shoes there's this HUGE blob of blue that looks disgusting. this wasn't the first time either. all my previous shoes have blue on the back of them. how do i prevent my jeans from bleeding onto my shoes =/

OP: wash your clothes in cold water. The heat from the hot water starts to melt the paint off the shirts. Cold water will still cause your shirts to fade, but not nearly as quickly.

Wash inside out with cold water, that helps usually.

Inside out with cold water. Hang to dry, don't cook your clothes in a dryer (more eco friendly too).
My TL shirt still looks mint after more than a year.

My TL shirt still looks mint after more than a year. ditto, except I use a dryer while inside out and its no problem really. Just the fuzz and fade of the static color of the shirt really.
Also, wear an undershirt so as not to get your good shirts dirty as fast. Do not wash them as often as a result. Do not eat like a slob, beat anyone up who spills on you, and curse god when you do it to yourself.

Buy better jeans. I'm actually serious. Better jeans are made with better material and treated with more care (i.e. more cycles of washing, etc.).
Alternative is to wear black shoes
