Yeah... so I've been trying to play mostly on the korean hours, but so far it's been a failure. As soon as I hit B, there's almost only koreans playing, and they are really picky about playing on low latency.
A while ago, it wasn't really a problem and it didn't lag on low latency, only with some koreans I had to pick high. Now, however I have to put extra high all the time, and 80% of them just leave instantly which makes it very frustrating to get games past B level. The massgamers with 300-300 stats doesn't seem to care, but the rest of the koreans do.
Is this a problem for the whole nonkorean scene, or is the ping only high in some parts of europe (to korea)? Does it help changing ISP? How can ret, whitera and the other foreigners massgame vs koreans?

It's a general Internet problem.

try playing after midnight in korea. Also you can try making deals beforehand like, "I won't build more than 5 sairs if you don't go muta."

It looks like my ISP traces it through USA and then to korea, resulting in about 400 ping. Wouldn't it be quicker to move across Russia? Why the hell USA? Russia doesn't have fibre internet going throughout the country?

And how high ping is 'low latency' for latencychanger? I don't remember

Your stream prolly causes some lag, sometimes it looks like you go extra high for no reason though.

How the game runs ingame and how it looks on the stream are usually 2 very different things. Often it don`t look laggy on the stream but its a pain in game.

I thought the bandwidth consumed by streaming might have something to do with it, but no, it's the same thing even when I play without streaming. The stream looks more OK than ingame usually cause it's lower framerate.

I tried tracing another host in korea and it does it a little bit better. I think this is the reason why I do not lag on high latency with some koreans.

yeah its mostly the routing that makes people lag vs Koreans but also Chinese. Both can have sick fast internet but if the routing goes retarded you will still have these lag spikes.
