playing myself back into shape

Xeris Iran17695 Posts June 26 2009 05:03 GMT #1 It's been so long since I've played it seems! I'm really bad now, ugh. I lost 5 in a row at D rank today, but then won my next 6. Since it's summer and I don't have much better to do, it's time for me to play back into shape. Nothing is more frustrating to me than sitting down to play and losing to people I shouldn't lose to, especially because I just felt so lost and hopeless and super sloppy. I also feel like the style of game has changed since I was last really active (aka last summer and a bit during the winter)... my old builds don't work like they used to, PvT especially seems to have changed quite a bit. So it's going to take me awhile. Perhaps I'll keep blogging with my progress. I guess like previous summers my goal will be to reach C+ and maybe push for B-. O__O! Almost D+, will go for C- maybe tomorrow. Woot.

I play during asian hours against smurfs so that might have something to do with it but it seems really hard nonetheless. I started playing more on chinese ladders which is usually even harder than iccup during certain hours. I think its great since winning does nothing to improve your game but does help confidence but at d and c ranks learning is better than boosting confidence imo. Good luck and post some replays ?

Gretorp gave me his B+ stats because he went to malaysia :p if that's what you were referring to. 7 game winstreak but seems like most of the people I'm playing have bad recs except some Korean I played yesterday. I'm feeling much more comfortable, less sloppy... although still playing much slower than usual.
