So what can go wrong at an exam?
Well, today, I wrote an exam for the hardest class in the school (high school). Given time was 2 and a half hours. I was cool with it, I basically studied the whole day before so I was fairly confident.
Now, here is where I ran into some trouble. So I went and sat down at a desk for my exam, just as it started, I suddenly felt pain in my stomach - I had to go for a huge shit. But unfortunately for me, no washroom breaks until 1 hour after exams start T_T. So, for the first hour, I could not concentrate at all, and barely got anything done. After 1 hour, I did ask for the washroom break and took a shit which at this point, I gave up on the exam due to major time problems. Feeling somewhat better, I returned to my desk to continue on with my exam that I could never finish. But, 15 minutes after my return, my stomach started hurting once again. At that point, I knew that I was destined not to finish the exam and handed in my half written exam moments after the time was up.
Now I told my friends about this. They all said that I should have taken a shit before the exam. My response to that was of course, I did take a shit beforehand, in fact, a huge shit.
It is the worst case scenario because it wasn't severe enough for the teachers to tell me to stop writing the exam but severe enough for me to not be able to write it.
Bad Luck? Yeah.

In University of Toronto, at least, if during an exam you become sick, the recommendation is that you try to continue, if possible, then after the exam is over you may submit a partition that you were not able to write within your best abilities because of your sickness (in your case, stomachache that gave you pain and distracted you). If approved you can write a deferred exam that is usually 4-8 months later depending on the course.
That being said I obviously do not know about the exam regulation of your school. I'd say it should be less strict than a post-secondary institute.

i remember writing my maths exam on 2nd year and i was dehydrated after all night of purging
and still during the exam i had to take a shit.

Sometimes when marathon runners have to go poddy in the middle of their race, they just do it in their pants without stopping. Some even come prepared with diapers and everything.
So . . .

ouch, sorry about your exam. Something like this has happened to me before where I was taking a test and suddenly felt the urge to take a huge shit. Really freaking hard to concentrate when you're twitching in your seat.

Haha, as much as I hate to admit it, this has happened to me once during the math exam. I had to leave for about 15~ minutes and I didn't really have enough time to finish the last page or two, it sucked.
I remember two other times where like, right before I went in I really had to go, I had maybe around 10~ minutes before the one exam and it turned out fine, and the other time it just went away after like 10 minutes. It's such a terrible feeling though. T_T;

Sorry to hear... I guess I'll be packing some medicine in case something like this happens to me as well.
My story: Studied for two days in advance (gasp! I usually study the night before...) for my AP US History mid-term, and find out I had the schedule mixed up. I ended up taking my BC Calculus one... somehow managed a B.
Wasn't the AP exam but still... it was a terrifying experience.

I had the same thing yesterday during my exam:o but I had to piss terribly instead of shit. Man my stomach was hurting like hell, my blatter was ready to explode, I couldn't sit up straight...
Teacher saw I was hurting and asked if I wanted to go home or something :p
So I had a piss of like 3 mins (I shit you not:o) then I had a shit which was soothing and then I owned the exam
