True, but the criticisms are still justified. At the very least with baseball, rubix cubing, hell even nascar, there's some strategy and thinking involved. Stacking is just pure muscle memory that takes a shitload of practice for no practical purpose outside of that one act.

yeah, sorry if I came off a bit snarky. I've just had one too many people trying to preach to me that this is a sport that's meant to be taken completely seriously, and it'll be bigger than I can possibly imagine someday. I do admit that it's entertaining to watch though.

Well of course it's not a 'real' sport, if by 'real sport' one means something that is as or nearly as complex and popular as say soccer or basketball or w/e.
The OP vid is just awesome. Way more impressive than the guitar hero stuff we see imo. To join the stacking "discussion", I think most people agree it's super lame (and I think it's downright stupid), but seeing a little kid stack that fast is really impressive nonetheless. Of course anything someone does that well would be impressive.
