Anyone else has had his computer destroyed by this thing recently? my antivirus (avast) has been excellent for 2 years now...never had a problem..but all of a sudden, this virus killed me. i had to reformat everything. GG

one of the most powerful viruses ive seen. this mofo will duplicate and infect tons of executable files...so you can't back up any file that are .exe . i had to reformat and reinstall XP like 15 times because i wanted to keep some programs but there was no way to tell which ones were infected. so trial and error...huge pain in the ass for 2 weeks.

Hm.. This is almost making me want to switch to some version of Linux like my brother lol

Mostly because when you try googling this virus, there are not that many hits from things other than tech-forums, and they are all about how terribly hard it is to remove..

Anyone know if the other AV programs use a different name for this?

what's Win32TrojanAgent?

ad-aware blocked it, but it tried to run when i downloaded and installed AIM.

call me silly but it seems to be an agent of the trojan virus o.o. Honestly I dont know but that is a good guess.

Aim for a Mac or Linux :p

trojan, worm ,virus, whatever you call it. bottom line is that it fucks up your computer for good. u gotta reformat no matter what. nothing you can do. and you'll lose many (all ?) of your programs because you can't back them up.
