WCG 2009 Grand Final will be held from Nov 11 to 15 in Chengdu, China.

Will definitely follow WCG this year because it takes place in the city I live in right now :D

Chengdu =
the city of pandas
the city of spicy food
the city of Bian Lian
the city that is only 150 kilometer from the center of the 8.0 magnitude earthquake last year

This is an awesome trip for the WCG event. Too bad I will be too broke to go. Hopefully the sc2 beta will be out before Nov. 11.

Chengdu! My friend is from there and he says that the saying goes, if there's an Earthquake then you have to save the Pandas first before saving the people

I'll be there! Might also checkout Beijing while I'm in China, but I'll be flying out direct from China to Phuket to spend a week or so, relaxing in a resort somewhere by the beach!

I went to Chengdu like a year and a half ago. It was very nice, the air was clean. There was a lot of construction, a ton of new office buildings going up. I think it's like the tech capital of China.

Sounds right, there are a lot more people than there are pandas.
