I think the biggest problem with electric guitar/bass players is that they're too afraid to set up their own instruments. Electric guitar/bass is so stupidly simplistic and forgiving that I think everyone should learn how to adjust the bridge saddles and truss rod, when needed. If the change in string gauge wasn't very drastic and you like the current action and the strings don't fret out anywhere on the neck, then all you'll really need to do is adjust the bridge saddles to fix the intonation. It takes some time to do, but it's very simple and paying money to adjust an electric bass because you changed string gauges is just an absolute waste of money. | ||
