in Fact it's from LimerickDB I copy and pasted so as not to waste it relevant to this blog it be: The limerick's structure somewhat necessitates *eloquent* smut. If you haven't the time to learn meter and rhyme, then don't write them, you ignorant slut. my meter and rhyme might be a little off :p | ||

For our last day of poetry class, we get loads of coffee and snacks and food (yay for snack day at college!). But the catch is, I have to have a couple of heroic couplets that I present to class. I'm terrible at poetry. Like, I really can't grasp iambic pantemeter for shit. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heroic_couplet Care to give some pointers? pentameter = 5 thingies per line iambic pentameter = 5 short/long syllable pairs per line Writing in it is hard as hell. Limericks are way easier. :p | ||
