Help - Linkys WRT310N and Port forwarding for Starcraft

Racenilatr United States2756 Posts March 19 2009 20:23 GMT #1 This is a new router I got, all excited that it would be awesome. It IS awesome except I can't seem to forward my ports. I followed the instructions Here and I made a static IP address. I have my DNS servers for the static IP address, and I made sure its a static IP address and not a dynamic one. I changed it to "use the following IP address" instead of "obtain IP address automatically" When I go to try to change my port settings though, at my router homepage, I can't do anything. There are some pictures that might help. I really need help to play starcraft! I can't wait for sc2 >_> Despite "forwarding" my ports, they are still closed/down.

SaRangHaE United States182 Posts March 19 2009 20:55 GMT #5 I see your problem. Your Start IP Address is 101 and you have your Applications and Games as 102. Change that to 101, that is if your last 3 digits in the IP is 101.

MiniRoman Canada3953 Posts March 19 2009 21:06 GMT #7 I have sameish router, never bothered making static IP. I check my connection display to get my IP then I just forward 6112 in single port forward and 6112-6119 in range port forward for it to work.
