Going to Ecuador

As a part of my community service for my university, I am going to Ecuador to build low cost housing and play with orphans. I am not looking forward to their judgmental, third-world eyes. It's bad enough when I remember the starving children in Africa as I gorge on my hamburger, but going to Ecuador and looking hungry orphans right in the eyes? I won't be able to buy anything nice for myself ever again.

Anyway, tomorrow is Friday the thirteenth and I'll be flying around in south america in propeller planes made out of plywood. If I'm lucky enough to reach my destination I might get raped by ecuadorian gangsters and sold into slavery. If you don't hear from me in a week, send in the troops.

Good luck there, my third-world eyes tell me you can learn more than you think

. Wich place exactly are you going to btw? Normally south american countrys have poverty but there are also places more developed in the same area.
