hi
Ok problem:
Me and friend cannot be in the same game alone, when we create, he instantly drops out.
We tried, hamachi, aus-1, icc, all the same thing. This is with firewalls off and all necessary ports free on both computers.
But, when we play a game with another person hosting, there is no problem
Any ideas?
Btw, we can 1v1 in warcraft 3 fine if this helps
I have no fucking idea what is wrong but it's a really annoying problem.

Use Hamachi version 1.0.1.1, the later versions can bug sometimes.

I have the same problem, except we are on the same network and we are using a crossover ethernet cable to connect the 2 PCs together. It was working before the 1.16.0 patch if that helps. Sorry for taking over your question OP.

you have a crossover ethernet cable? that's pretty cool. if there's one thing that i'm looking forward to, it's that sc2 will have 10 years of network improvements.
I was under the impression that hamachi worked with 1.0.1.5, and nothing later. Not sure though.
one other idea that you could try (that's going to be a bit of work). Try to vpn through someplace else. It'll guarentee that you get another ip, and is also guarenteed to increase ping. If you're at a loss for ideas though ...
