I have a D-Link router, and I've gone to portfoward.com or w/e that site is and did what they said for my particular router. The thing is, my router has a very simple method for opening the ports: it actually has support for like 50 games programmed on it already. So all I had to do, and all the instructions at portforward told me to do, was to go to the advanced settings and go to the port forwarding section and just click "starcraft," and it opened them for me.
The instructions at portforward for WC3 on my router are here, which has the same ports as SC: http://www.portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/Dlink/DIR-615/Warcraft_III.htm
This didn't fix my problem though. I turned off my internal firewall on my router. I don't know what else to do to allow me to host games without having to do the latency trick. Does anyone know the further steps to take that are necessary?
Thanks.
