Replay commentary

so basically, i was too tired to do a proleague commentary today, so i decided to do a strategical commentary from a replay of a recent game that i played, at first i was kicking myself for not making an fpvod, but i feel like the commentary on a replay lets me commentate on both the protoss and terran sides and since i play both races i can offer strategical analysis regarding both races.

isclaimer* this is not an exhilirating commentary, and chances are it will not get you excited, but if you are a d- thru c gamer i think that it can help you're game so you might want to check it out. I'm also new to commentary so there are bound to be mistakes, CONSTRUCTIVE criticism is greatly appreciated.

also, i accidently stopped fraps from recording at one point, so thats why there is a 47 second part.

oh, and another thing, i forgot to turn down my speakers at a couple parts so the sc volume is a little loud, however i listened to it and you can still hear my voice.

I usually don't care for replay commentaries, but getting it from a very experienced player is awesome. I hope you keep doing more and do some FPVODs as well =)

What rank are you on iccup, just out of curiosity? (I'm not judging you, just purely out of curiosity)

this season i was c but then got mad and reset and i havent played iccup since then

I liked the commentary. Yeah it got a little too hard to hear in some places but that will be easy enough to fix next time. My one suggestion is to be careful about how much stuff you say that is projecting into the future. If it's a replay you've already seen, it's fine for you to say things like "these vults won't do much harassment because there are 5 goons there" but be wary of cases either where you turn out to be wrong because you misremember the chronology of the match, or where you imply vaguely that something is going to happen, but are not specific until it does (i.e. He's going to have a good response in a couple of minutes).

To summarize: very nice job.

Must have missed it, my bad.

micronesia did bring up some solid constructive criticism. It definitely didn't significantly degrade the quality of the commentary though.

Is there a way you could upload it somewhere else so we can directly donwload it? It would be more pleasant to watch, in my opinion.
