Sup sup~
A while back I made a blogpost about finding a place in Toronto. I ended up going there and have been living here for about a month now. If anyone is down here in Toronto and wants to meet up sometime, I'm down with that.
What I am looking for are some nice places in Toronto (not the usual crap like CN Tower etc)! All tips are welcome Great restaurants, bars, places to go out to, to have lunch at, to just go and check out etc etc. I'm in Chinatown and can pretty much easily get anywhere downtown.

So why did I put New York in the title of this post? In 2 weeks I'll be visiting NYC and I'm looking for some nice restaurants to go to. I love eating at restaurants :O~! They shouldn't be all TOO pricey tho, but hell.. if the food and service and ambiance is really great+++ I don't mind paying up some more. Anything else you think I should really go check out, let me know!

What kind of food are you looking for first all?

Kensington market is neat for shopping. It's not your typical shopping experience at least. It's awesome in the summer, with lots of street performers and musicians.
Sunday they block off cars I think, so that's the day to go. Look it up on the net.

New York (from cheap to expensive):
Katz You must try their pastrami on rye. It's 15$ for a sandwich but it is well worth it. Make sure to tip your sandwich maker, he'll give you better cuts. This is located in Soho, and you can get there by taking the F and getting off at.... fuck I don't remember any more
Lombardi's or Grimaldi's
I think those two are the best Pizza stores in NY. Lombardi's is on the island, and Grimaldi's is just over the Brooklyn bridge in DUMBO. When you order toppings, make sure you order really dry ones, or else your pizza will turn out all soggy.
Jean George
If you are on a tight budget, go at lunch, I think it'll cost under $35 everything included. Expect the most authentic French cooking in NY.
Mesa Grill
This is opened by Iron Chef Bobby Flay. It is not the greatest, but it is definitely worth going for brunch. It is relatively cheap and the servings are very generous.
Morimoto
My favourite restaurant in NYC. It is a little pricey, maybe around $100 for dinner with taxes and tips. However, the food is well worth it.
There are also some other restaurants that I wanted to try but cheaped out, if you have lots of cash, try:
Per Se MASA
Both conveniently located inside the Time Warner Center.
