Basically I want to pick a race to specialize in for SC and train with it, but I just can't decide! And unfortunately picking "Korean" isn't an option...
Some background info on my SC experience. I've played all 3 races quite a bit and generally I play at a D-level with around 150ish APM. I think I could get better results if I picked and practiced a single race (and practiced better builds). But whenever I try and stick to one, I seem to run into things about playing that race that I just hate. For example,
-I hate TvT so much. I definitely like having a good, long game, but playing for 40 minutes and then slowly dying just sucks (slowly winning also sucks). TvP is alright, though playing it on python really annoys me for some reason. And TvZ is really tough (and very different).
-Protoss gets boring... It definitely seems a ton easier than the other two, but I feel more limited in some ways. Also I feel PvP is very boring aesthetically (omg dragoons lawl - which ones are mine? SC hurts my eyes sometimes) and can be quite luck based at times. PvZ can be really fun for me though.
-Zerg. They're alright, ZvZ is really short so I don't care if it's just a muta-ling fest. ZvP is definitely fun since I play mainly hydra builds and have big, epic macro wars. Standard ZvT gets me though, I just don't like the style of it. If I could find a reliable way to hydra-lurk then that would help. Isn't it supposed to be good against the common SK terran? I don't really know tbh but I once saw Savior do it against Iris and that game was just awesome. Zerg drone play confuses me, I never know how many I need and when to power drones instead of units.
So...what do you guys think I should choose, and why? I play pretty casually on iccup/US west for a few hours every other day, and quite a bit on the weekend. I'm not looking to go A+ gosu, but an eventual C would be cool. Finally, which races are the most and least popular? That could play a factor too, because I like being different.

Protoss seems to be the most popular on iccup. As for what race you should play, why not just be a race picker? Or random.
However if you're against that, and I really hate to say this, but maybe you should play zergs (filthy fucking scum omg). It seems you like to play really fast paced macro games which imo seems to fit zergs perfectly (or at least better than the other races). Your problems with ZvT could easily be fixed just by practicing and studying more strategies. And your problems with drones can EASILY be fixed just by practicing more.

- you seem to dislike toss, so scrap that
- you don't like TvT, and terran is homosexual anyways

-> ZvZ is the most micro-oriented match-up, not as luck-based as people say it is (actually, it is almost 0 luck unless you take maps into considerations). quick and excitinng
-> ZvP, you say you like it so that's good
-> ZvT, compared to TvZ the hardest (in my opinion) matchup in the game. you say you don't like the style, but there are so many things you can do. two hatch tech/aggression, three hatch macro, lurker opening, muta opening, burrow and mass speedlings, defilers, ultras, all so awesome

Honestly no one on this forum can answer your question. Play all 3 until you decide for yourself. All races are balanced, saying P is the "easy" race is stupid (I KNOW IM P BUT ITS SOOOO HARD RARARARA!!!!!!!!!). P is def the most popular race right now.
What falcynn said above me makes sense though, so you can change my vote to Zerg (even though they are the gay people race)

I considered being a "race picker" but it just seems...weird. What happens when I face random people, and other race pickers? I figure I might as well commit and learn a race inside out. Thanks for the comments so far, I'll check back on this later and make a decision by the end of the day. I feel like I need to put my foot down and go "from now on I'm playing _____".

2. I meant that Protoss is easier to use at the lower levels of play.

z is swarming techniques. and controlling mass units. i'm a zerg guy, but i hate having so many units to group, control and keep track of. i'm looking forward to SC2

You don't have to stick to a race
you can play several matchups like I do
even though i play at c- tvt level, i hate it with a passion. I usually do my d- zvt. I play TvP and TvZ as well, but sometimes i do ZvP cuz I hate Dt-->Carrier

I still think u should play all 3 races for a bit more
Understanding the "mindset" of the other race is very important
you can't get this understanding if u only play one race

why don't you try sticking with one race for a while, like 10-30 games. then roatate? you will still get more deep knowledge about one race by using it consecutively, but also for each race. then from that point, you will have gained knowledge and the mindset for each race, and as you do so, you will have gained a "preference" and what fits you better.
of course, you dont have to stick to one race, but look at it... all the pros stick to one race. and they've already "mastered" that race. and they're still mastering it further. GL =)

I said Terran, but Terran can be lame sometimes. I think zerg is the most fun because of the high tech units
