Okay, so I haven't done much, but for some reason, I've got a virus, my desktop says Warning Spyware detected, I can't run task manager and I can't change my desktop. And my home page for Mozilla is always this gay site that's ... probably a virus site. I currently have Ad-Aware and AVG but AVG isn't installed. Please help, anything would be appreciated. I love teamliquid.net

I would completely reformat and reinstall windows (format C: /fs:ntfs). Unless you're really computer savvy, its hard to figure out exactly the extent of the spyware/virus and how to get rid of it.

theres a new virus that poses nvidia's nwiz.exe application, and I was wondering If anyone could help me find out if that file is related to the trojan.

Its a prefetch file, and I dont know whether to delete it or what, If anyone could help me It would be greatly appreciated.

i just checked my prefetch and i have exact same file, so it is good. i just did reformat on my comp a few weeks ago and 100% sure i have no virus, trojan and shit.
