Why is YouTube suddenly skipping on me? It used to be that I'd go to watch a video, and it'd start after a few seconds and rarely it might stop in the middle of the video to buffer again.

However, now it does it almost every four or five seconds. Hearing the audio stop every few seconds is just fucking annoying.

Does anyone know what's going on?

maybe it's your internet being retarded, did you try watching videos on other sites to see if it skips there as well?

do you have other browsers, check if the problem persists when using a different browser.

Mine does exactly the same thing apparently at random. I use mozilla and havent tried other browsers that may work. Luckily it does it pretty rarely and fixes its self all on its own. No idea what causes it but its interesting to hear someone say the same thing.

I just tried it with IE, and the same problem happens there. I'm on DSL, and it's never happened before, so I'm not sure why it's happening now.

Try clearing all cookies and temp. internet files.

This happens to me too, on a Vista PC. There's something that sucks up the CPU fairly badly every once in a while, which I think is what causes the video to skip.

edit: maybe it's when other people are copying/streaming files off our computers?

I want to know why does my youtube not have "added x days ago" any more

and no more sorting by date added. now when i click on dues037 i only see his oldest most viewed videos.
