Dear TL,

I want to get certain peoples' aim/msn but I want to do it in a non-sketchy way. I do not have classes with these people so the old "whats the hw" trick won't work. Advice?

Find someone who knows them, or someone who knows someone who knows them, and get his e-mail then work your way up.

Facebook is often the easiest way. Also, you can use a truth serum while wearing a mask and a device that masks your voice.

Hahaha, you wanna get these peoples' aims in a "non-sketchy" way, huh? The fact that you're trying to get these peoples' aim in the situation you described seems sketchy enough as it is, so you might as well go the full mile.

lol yeah it's kind of funny that it doesn't even occur to you to just ask them straight up (or maybe you just have some secret reason why you can't?).
Can't believe I'm still here playing this same game

Let's just say it would be very sketchy and I don't think it would go over well...from past experience.

Aside from straight up (which will be used as a last resort) is there anything else u might want to do that may not SEEM to be sketchy, even though it is in itself sketchy (whee contradictions)

1) Make a fake myspace
2) Make it private and with the same state or city as the victims
3) Come up with a fake story of who you are and how you found these people (Can be done by saying you're a friend of a friend of someone on the victims top 8 friends fairly easily)
4) Gain trust for a few days, or weeks depending on how much of a guarantee you want for your final mission
5) Ask for the AIM or MSN
6) Create a fake AIM to talk to her, or him, so it will not be sketchy when you message him or her with your real aim later

Remember, people who are not experienced online are very, very, very easy to deceive online. Your story doesn't have to be elaborate, this is the internets, you will win. Just the other day mousey.rr gave me the aim name of someone random he knew, and within 2 hours I got her phone number by pretending to be some random kid named CJ.

Goodluck, PM me if you need help, I have some experience in the area of myspace deception.

I can't be the only one who read this post thinking "What the fuck?" Snet, want to tell us more?

It sounds like you want to get to know someone but you don't know how to talk to them in person. I'm sorry bud, but you're going to have a hard time shaking off the impression of weirdness and insecurity that person is going to have of you unless you had the confidence to approach them in person in the first place. Just go up to them some time and try to talk to them. Why don't you tell us more about your situation

Well,

I suppose I know the person decently well, but the person prefers hanging with a very tight-knit group of people which I am not a member of. By tight knit I mean really, really tightknit.

Halp was pretty commonly used in one or two other communities I used to frequent. Not sure if it is an isolated thing or not.
