Hackers on iccup? Or what?

I've played probably 4 games now where suddenly I lose control of my screen and mouse and in one instance it even felt like maybe someone else (aka my opponent) was suddenly controlling my screen.

Everytime this has happened, there has been a huge "beeeeeeep"...so is this from faggot hackerS? Or could it be from something else? I really don't know why it keeps happening.

Are the controls unresponsive? I had a problem on my other PC occasionally where the tower would make a rather loud beep, and the controls would be sluggish to the point of being unusable.

Hopefully it's just your PC flipping out on you, and not some new hack I've never heard of. T_T

I'm sure it's not my PC. I am just suspicious because when I moved my entire army suddenly it's like, "BEEP," and I lose mouse control while my screen is moving looking at all my expos on the map lol...it happened RIGHT as I was moving in 5 control groups into a field of lurkers...

If it was your PC beeping it's msot definitely your keyboard messing shit up for you.

Some keyboards don't allow more than a certain amount of keys being pressed at the same time, and if you over exceed that amount everything will freeze and you'll lose control until you let go of the keys. When this happends the computer starts beeping aswell.

hmmm....maybe your right. But the only other thing I know is different is the new iccup LAT thing for zero lag. and yeh, I hope I didn't just give any bwhackers any ideas lol -_-

I have a whole bunch of games where I suddenly lose control of my mouse and keyboard for like 5 seconds at a time. The mouse just shoots off in a direction and stays there. Sometimes it even happens a few times per game. In my case, it was some kind of weird lag, since afterwards every action i did during the "downtime" was done after the lag period was over. It happened so often just before a battle or something, so annoying when my lurkers never get a chance to burrow T_T.
Edit: This happened before the 0 lag thing, and now so far I'm lag free!! (but 1-7 T_T)

I'm pretty sure that it's from your own computer (at least that's where i would look first). Depending on how old your computer and what bios//everything else you can think of is doing, if you press the keys too fast/click too fast, you'l get the beeping and your computer will lag. Just try hitting the keys as fast as possible in windows, and you should get the same beep and lag issues >.>

OMG YES! How you described it is exactly how it happens to me. I talked to my dad and I think we've come up with that it's the keyboard buffer being overrun...apm much? lol...this sux, and it is no doubt cause of the new LAT settings for iccup. unless anyone can think of something else.

I'm not sure if it's the new lat settings, because I've never experienced it with the 0 lag launcher. My APM is like 80-100 (T_____T;;;

so it can't be that.
