First of all I am full computer noob.
Ok, so I downloaded this movie that is HD movie. I dont know what exactly is this, but my friend told that it is movie, but with much better quality. The movie is like 4GB lol. The problem is that when i play it plays pretty slow and freezes and goes frame by frame. I googled and find out that you need a really good pc to watch this HD thing.
My pc is : Intel Celeron 3200, 1GB Ram, Radeon X1300 256 Ram.
My question is : Is this configuration enough to run this type of files and do I need specific player to play this movies.

err that comp should play any movie unless you put vista on it.

It's definitely not the PC, even quite old systems are capable of playing DVD quality movies with no problem.
What video player are you using?
Some are really inneficient and I would recommend the VLC player.
Also, codecs/filters could be the problem, or the video file itself could be corrupted somehow.
Oh, yeah, as TKWL said, vista sux

If its like a 1080p movie it could lag on that system couldnt it? If your running programs in the background that could be the reason.
Try updating your video card drivers maybe, I know ATI uses avivo to enhance/decode movies so maybe something is messing up.
