Coming to you from my room at home in Tucson Az.
Its been a minute since last I have checked in blog wise.
So since my last blog ... Many ups and downs. As is life....
The last check in I had returned from Berlin and My son, wife and I had come back from a trip to the EU. Hans Zimmer , Belgium, England and Scotland.
Just before Christmas I had gone to Florida to help a buddy and one of his employees work on sourdough bread. It was a paid trip. Ive known Jamie (owner of Nona Slice House in Saftey Harbor Fl) since we were 17/18. We have worked many pizza jobs, and ice carving together and he is probably the most award winning Pizziola in the States. I truly had the best food Ive ever had at his place.

]In January the family (plus my daughter's boyfriend ) did a DisneyLand trip that is always a blast. I do not like crowds unless I am working or it's Disney haha. What a blast that was!

The wife and I have been struggling more as the kids get older. Daughter is 25 and in grad school up in Phoenix working to become an Occupational Therapist. And my son is 17 finishing his Jr year of HS.
I am still working for the James Beard Award winning chef doing Sourdough bread (for way to little money) and making excuses to not pursue balloons in any manner that I know I should. Though I am working on that atm. Balloon decor is where I should be focusing on as it will not only give me the monetary freedom to do gaming events etc. but also allow me to really grow into the force I know I can be. For to long I have been sitting back waiting to make balloon twisting at gaming events a "full time" gig.
After 30 years of being a pothead I have given that up and am trying to bring my dreams into reality.

Ill be doing the ESL One event in Birmingham coming up the end of April so I hope to connect with anyone that might be making that event. And have some balloon twisting gigs the next couple months here and there.
I keep putting this off but wanted to make a "quick" post to catch people up... BisuDagger asking for an update in a Glider blog was the push I needed...

I am so thankful for this space and the amazing people that occupy this forum. If not for you all my life would not have as much meaning as it does and has had these past years....
