Hello everyone! It's been a long time. Honestly, I don't really have much to write so this post will probably be on the shorter side, but I just wanted to share some of my goals for 2023:
-To actually figure out what I want to do with my life. I'm currently working some garbage retail job, and after having worked this current one along with other garbage retail jobs I learned pretty quickly that it's really not something I want to make a career out of.
-This may sound super corny, but I would also like to get to a place gaming-wise where I feel like I am actually pretty good. I started playing Tekken again, so I have a lot of motivation to play that along with Smash Bros. When Street Fighter 6 and Tekken 8 both come out, I would like to put a lot more time into both those games.
-I also genuinely want to get closer to the people I care about, being friends/family/etc. These are the people who are most important to me, and not only do I want to spend more time with them but I would like to meet more people as well.

I can totally appreciate not wanting to make a career out of retail. I respect those who do but having done it... not for me.
What I can't appreciate is spending time being good at videogames!

I really agree on the part of the video gaming thing. We are getting older and older and personally I wouldn't look for being good at video games rather than enjoying playing them. That is the reason I play starcraft since 1998 and still suck at B rank. Because I never took it serious learning the bo's / timings and basically putting the effort and time in it like some other people do.
