Hello blog readers and music lovers

Recently I've made some remixes , well not really remixes cause they don't really sound anything like the official versions.

This time around I decided to try to remix Juice Wrld - Blood on my Jeans, turned out pretty good! Nothing spectacular but was a pretty fun track to work on

Right now I'm working on a remix on Dua Lipa - Break My Heart , aiming for a kind of deep house/chill styled track. I'm gonna put a lot on effort on this one so hopefully I'll be raising my bar for future productions.

What software do you use? I've been interested in making music more but I'm not sure which one to get.

I use Ableton Live 10 and Reason 10 in ReWire Mode (routing the softwares together), aside from software I use a hardware synthesizer called Virus Ti2.

My recommendation is a DAW (music software) is one that supports VST (external plugins) this is very important, the rest are just preferences and some difference in built in plugins/effects/instruments for each DAW.

I would choose between Ableton or Fruity loops if i were you, they are both pretty versatile and both support VST.
Both of them are free for trial/evaluation, I recommend you to try both (and maybe look on YT) to make up your mind.

Fruity loops has a pretty intuitive interface, and it's pretty common choice of people that are beginners in producing, non the less it's still a great software and a lot of good producers has stuck to it/still using it.

A advice also I can give you is to skip the "packs" where you get more soundbank from the DAW and buy a cheaper version of the DAW and put the extra money on good plugins (When you're getting familiar with all the stuff in your DAW and want to expand your library I would recommend plugins such as: Sylenth or Serum, Native Instruments etc)

Fruity loops cheapest version 89$, most expensive version 489$
Ableton cheapest version: 95$, most expensive version 761$
