EPTYes, Starcraft:remastered found on facebook gaming a perfect platform for the spread of streams and tournaments that would not see light in places where the English language rules such as tl.net or twitch. On this platform unknown players to us people that has followed the competitive bw scene from years, are making a name for themselves and dragging more than positive numbers relative to their twitch peers. On Twitch an average a Latin streamer of bw has between 3-10 viewers, on facebook, that streamer can potentially reach 50 or 60 people watching his content, as long as that streamer knows where to promote his stream.
Facebook groups such as TDR, CSG, Starcraft Chile, Starcraft Latino, etc., makes the task of finding suchs streams easy to the non-hardcore starcraft players and potential casual viewers.

Also, there is a bunch is small tournaments happening all arround facebook.
3vs3 hunters tournaments, 1vs1 latam only tournaments, low level tournaments, high level tournaments, fastest tournaments, name it and you have it, theres always someone streaming a tournament with prize money which is to me INCREDIBLE. Just a few minutes ago Dyna and Ozuna played on a tournament finals for 400 Soles, with 300+ people watching. No one on tl or twitch knows about this things.
i want to also mention that in the last few months and under the figure of a very carismatic caster named OliverPatrick, 2 huge companies have sponsored a few tournaments: Movistar and Pringles. Also there is a growing interest in Starcraft Leagues and people are beggining to understand that money is important for the growth of the scene. i heard people from all over latam saying that they would donate money to organize a tournament or live event after covid is gone.

this makes me belive that sc:r is going to be a huge thing in latam in years to come and that my dream of making a professional scene in latin america is possible.
