I worked on Modern Meta Break Down videos focusing on Decks that you could see played in a tournament
In 2019 I went hardcore into grad school and knew that I couldn't stream like I had before. I decided about half way through the year I was going to focus on just playing games with my friends and practice editing videos.
I started changing my Youtube channel from the main games of Sc2, Magic the Gathering, and Sea of Thieves that I added at the end of 2018.
I had my 2 buddies from College start a Minecraft server with me since back in 2009 I had been playing beta. Back then we would just rotate building on my pc. Now we can log on whenever we want and start adding stuff to the server. We've been able to get on and play together which has been really fun since it is a server full of islands. So we are constantly exploring and building bases. We are also playing on hard mode so you know we've lost a lot of items we've gathered while exploring.

Here is one of the episodes from the series.
I fell in love with Sea of Thieves when I watched Mike and Jerry of Penny Arcade stream the beta. If you have never seen the game it is a Pirate game that you can sail on 1 of 3 ships, a Sloop (for 2 players) a Brigantine (for 3 players) or the Galleon (for 4 players) You can have a max of 6 boats per server and it is designed as a action adventure game that you can PvP with anyone and everyone that isn't on your boat. At the end of 2018 I got back into that game and started streaming it up with my brothers in addition to Magic the Gathering.

Here is the first video of the 3 part series of my crew taking on the Fort of the Damned. The Fort of the Damned is a special fort that when activated puts a giant black skull in the sky that can be seen by everyone on the server. It basically causes a giant PvP festival at this fort. If you successfully defend the fort, kill the waves of skeletons, and defeat the boss you get a lot of great loot
With the all consuming grad school I've tried to change my YouTube channel into a "variety" gaming channel. Just like when streamers try to do this on Twitch my views and subscribers have fallen off. Even with this happening I'm having so much fun playing games and editing content. I'm trying to keep with a consistent schedule of 2 videos a week on Monday and Thursday to have a creative content making outlet since I can longer stream. I'm finding that I'm much happier by having a mix of games that I'm working on even if my views have fallen off since I'm not exclusively Sc2 and Magic the Gathering. That being said I'm still going to push to produce content for Sc2 and Magic but that will not be all that I do in 2020. Now i'm going to focus on making content that I would want to watch. Which brings me to the secret Sc2 project that I'm working on for the 10th anniversary. Here is a little sneak pic with the thumbnail for the first episode.
Thanks for reading and hopefully you'll consider checking out some of my content over on YouTube.
