Gotta get a new video card eventually

Managed to play about 20 SC2 games this season and maybe 20 Warcraft 3 ladder matches as well.

I been meaning to get a Video card for my Ryzen 2200g setup to play more RTS and play without any lag/fps drops. Right now I been streaming Warcraft 3 since I am able to play that and stream with minimal problems and been wanting to do the same with SC2 but I don't think that will happen any time soon.

I also forgot most of the SC lore and to be honest, I don't think I ever beaten SC1/BW. Starting later today I'm going to work on streaming and trying to beat the SC campaign in a couple of weeks.

I know BW is a total different game from SC2 but I love the graphics of the original and been meaning to play the campaign for awhile since I got Remastered.

Maybe once I have enough time, I'll host another BW cup and get that going!

Which cards are you looking at? I'm using the same processor as you in the PC I built and don't have a graphics card either. Been so many years since I bought one that I'm not sure what to look for. I never did play the campaign for BW either... feels too slow and boring compared to the multiplayer. Most OP unit is obviously the scout.

I'm looking for something really affordable lol.

Enough to play Tekken 7 and SFV with 60 fps and maybe most games on medium

I'm itching to drop a credit card and get a 570

A 570 is generally the best value for money on the low end. I wouldn't advice getting anything cheaper and better isn't needed for the games you play.

What's the most OP unit in BW

The siege tank or the defiler

Carriers are pretty sick, but only in one match up, and I find them slightly overrated to be honest. People think that if you get enough of them, you can not lose, but this is only true if your economy is superior, in which case having an automatic win condition is not that impressive. Carriers merely allow for the Protoss to capitalize on a superior economy.

Try to get video card second hand too. Those are typically best bang for your buck. If you're worried about the gpu being over used for cryptocurrency, just get one for which you can easily buy the fans to replace them. Besides the fan problem, the gpu should be fine.
