Real men people are comfortable enough to show emotion and deal with their problems. And one of my favorite polos is pink.

Deboning fish is a difficult job if you have never done it before. At high standards, you don' t ask someone who has never done it before to do it one night on a whole number of tables. So the concept of it is wrong and Gordon would never ask an employer of his to do it like you explained. Tv shows are about pushing peoples emotions to the limit of expression on camera. Any kind of emotion that surfaces during the filming is incentivized and exploited, as in this case and many others, at the expense of the person who acts or performs or simply appears. Id you go on tv you have to know this and accept this and shield yourself for it.

Can't tell if this is supposed to be a comment on race, gender, the cooking profession... or if the situation was funny or mean. I think the portrayal of Asians in the US media is often pretty abysmal.
