Alright, so first off this was meant to be a period of relaxation in Paris, France. But, right now it's turning out to be a very shitty time. Basically I let my father book a hotel for 3 nights (very bad idea) and it turned out it is outside Paris in a town called Montevrain. My plan was to stay in the hotel for 1 night and then switch to a hotel in Paris.
Unfortunately...this hotel doesn't have an ATM anywhere close by to get money (closest around 1.5 miles) and I don't have enough Euros to take me anywhere else. I spent it on a psychotic French taxi driver that had a mental breakdown and still charged me 106 Euros after driving around in a circle for what seemed like 20 minutes. But I managed to reduce it to 86 Euros...fuck me. Based on what I know taxi drivers don't accept credit cards so, I'm stuck in this hotel and I don't know what to do.
So much for a vacation. I just wanted to go to the goddamn Louvre and walk around Paris.
Any advice on how to get through this? It's my first time traveling so it's my mistake.

Very true. But, I forgot to mention I don't know where it is despite looking it up. It isn't showing up on the map when I typed it into google and the front desk told me they don't know where it is. They also said I would have to go to a shopping mall or disneyland to get to an ATM, which is further. I didn't want to sound as if I'm too lazy to walk. I've been walking and hiking all summer long  I suppose I'll go wander around.

Getting lost is half the fun of travelling, except when you're hosed 86 euro because the taxi driver took you for a rube, personally I wouldn't have paid, but take a walk, you'll find an ATM somewhere around.

If you're planning to walk around town all day, you'll probably be going at least 10-15 miles.

At the very least, AT LEAST... you weren't taken. Because that happens in Paris.

Best vacation ever. Use the rest of your money to get drunk, then sell your clothes for a ticket to Louvre.

I think this might be the best solution. I only have 1 day left. The louvre is closed on Tuesdays

There is one option... Fuck Louvre, go to Meltdown, find a French bro and ask for a city tour. Well, SC:BW and SCll community is the best in my opinion, so I'm pretty sure someone at hte bar will help you! Cheers!

Sounds interesting. I'll try to head there if I have time But I've always wanted to go to the louvre since I was young. It's a must for me.

Geez, you don't live far away, you live 40km for the Eiffel tower... Rent a bicycle, go for a bike ride, 40km for a person who has biked before will be 90 minutes. Take a beautiful walk around Paris, get exercise, it'll be wonderful.
Anyway, like others have said, 1.5 miles, or 2.4km is very little, at the age of 14 I was running 3km in sub 11 minutes, so I'm sure the walk to the ATM isn't all that bad. At the end of the day, sure your situation isn't great, but completely manageable. Don't spend your vacation being miserable, go for an adventure and have a nice story. Cheers, I hope to visit Paris sometime soon myself.
