Idk if I'm right about this but "swag" in the last 4 years.
so people used swag to be cool for a bit.
Then a bunch of people started to use swag to lampoon them. I guess I fall somewhere here
We understand the premise of using swag that it doesn't have any serious meaning at this point
And then there are people who hate it because they're late to the party or something.. idk, in my opinion, these are the worst kind of people..
We have some of these antiswag people on TL and the hate is fairly unreasonable in my opinion. What do you actually see in the people who use swag?

It's not even ironically. It has no specific meaning anymore and there isn't any underlying precedent among my friends who use it. We're all smart capable intellectuals if anything.
Maybe this was a dumb blog lol. I just don't like it when people imply and assume things when they are in no position to.

I use it ironically because it amuses me.
Using the word "swag" seriously is not inherently bad but let's just say I'll allow myself to be prejudiced toward those who do. "Look at the subculture kid", I'll think. Whether you like it or not, the term is now linked to dumb jocks. Long story short, when the term is used unironically, it reminds me of Jersey Shore.
Granted you certainly get to redeem yourself. First I'll assume things, then it's up to you to prove to me that I'm an ass. :>
